We are observing a significant increase in incidents where participants of various domestic and international scientific conferences are receiving emails promoting hotel accommodation through fraudulent travel agency websites.
Please be advised that these agencies have absolutely no affiliation with NEURO2026 and are potentially engaging in fraudulent activities. If you have any suspicions, please contact the congress secretariat immediately for advice. Points to Note:

  • NEURO2026 will never send unsolicited emails inviting you to book accommodation.
  • If you receive any suspicious email or phone call, do not provide any personal information or credit card details under any circumstances.

1. Registration Period

We recommend pre-registration as a discounted registration fee is offered.

Please Note:

  • The registration fee does not include the cost for the reception or the lunch provided at the Luncheon Seminars.
  • The Reception fee is tax-inclusive for both members and non-members.
  • The "Senior" category applies to Senior Members (JNS or JNNS) and Meritorious/Senior Members (JSN). For Honorary Members of each society, please confirm with the respective society's secretariat.
  • Members of the following societies are eligible for the“members”

    *If you plan to present an abstract, membership in JNS, JSN, or JNNS is required.
    The discount will be applied only if your membership status is verified following your online registration. Applications for the member discount will not be accepted at the on-site registration desk.

Important Notes:

  • When selecting your registration category, please choose the status that will be applicable at the time of the meeting (July 30 - August 2, 2026), regardless of your current membership classification within the society (e.g., regular member, junior member, student member).
  • Your registration fee may be supported by Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research (KAKENHI) or other grants if you are to present the research results at the meeting. Please check with your institutional administrative staff regarding the necessary procedures.

For Graduate Students:

You will be required to show your student ID upon registration.
  • Online Registration: Please follow the on-screen instructions to upload a copy (front and back) of your student ID showing a valid expiration date.
  • On-site Registration: Please present your student ID at the registration desk.

Regarding the Registration Fees for Undergraduate Students:

You will be required to show your student ID upon registration.
  • Online Registration: Please follow the on-screen instructions to upload a copy (front and back) of your student ID showing a clear expiration date.
  • On-site Registration: Please present your student ID at the registration desk.

<For those presenting an abstract as the First Author>

A registration fee applies even for undergraduate students. You must complete the pre-registration and pay the registration fee.

<For Non-Presenters>

The registration fee is free of charge.

4. Payment / Cancellation Policy

Please select either a credit card payment or a bank transfer.

Please note that only credit card payments will be accepted after July 1.

  • Please keep your Registration ID and Password secure, as they will be required to review and modify your registered details.
Cancellation and Changes to Registration:
  • The paid registration fee is non-refundable regardless of the reason for cancellation.
  • Please take care to avoid duplicate registration or duplicate payment.

6. 1-Day Pass for Domestic Academia

To encourage participation from researchers in diverse academic fields, we are offering a complimentary 1-Day Pass for NEURO2026.
This pass is available exclusively to non-members affiliated with a university or research institute in Japan who have never attended any of the three organizing society meetings in the past: the Japan Neuroscience Society, the Japanese Society for Neurochemistry, or the Japanese Neural Network Society.
Please complete your registration by clicking the button below. You may select one day only to attend.
Please note that presenters and co-authors of abstracts are not eligible to participate with the 1-Day Pass.
If you wish to join the reception (July 30) after registering for the 1-Day Pass, please register and pay the reception fee at the Registration Desk during the meeting.

7. On-Site Registration (Online / On-Site at the Venue)

On-Site registration will also be available.

*It is recommended that you print out your meeting badge after payment completion and bring it with you for a smoother check-in process at the venue.
*A Pass for the Meeting Planner will be issued to your registered email address upon completion of payment.

On-Site Registration at the Venue

  • Payment Method: Cash only.
  • Please fill out the necessary information on the "Registration Form" provided below and proceed to the Registration Desk at the venue. The "Registration Form" will also be available at the registration desk on-site.

8. Meeting Badge & Receipt

1)Online Registration

Participants who have completed online registration and have paid the registration fee can download the following items from the registration system:

  1. Meeting Badge (Name Card) *Available from mid-July onwards
  2. Receipt for Registration Fee
2)On-Site Registration at the Venue

Your meeting badge and a receipt for the registration fee will be handed to you at the registration desk upon completion of the process.

*6. 1-Day Pass for Domestic Academia users are asked to visit the reception desk for both online and on-site registration.

9. Reception

Date and Time: Friday, July 31, 2026, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. (Tentative)
Venue: Kobe Portopia Hotel (Approximately a 3-minute walk from the meeting venue)
Fee: Participation in the reception is not included in the registration fee and requires a separate payment. Please pay the reception fee along with your registration fee when you register for the conference.

*If there are a large number of applications, we may close the application early even before the application deadline. We recommend that those who wish to participate apply as early as possible.

10. JNS, JSN, JNNS membership

Members receive a discounted registration fee. If you are not yet a member, we encourage you to join one of the societies at this opportunity.
The First Author of an abstract must be a member of either JNS, JSN, or JNNS. Non-members planning to present an abstract must promptly complete their membership application procedures. Please be aware that if the membership application, registration process, and annual fee payment are not confirmed after abstract submission, the abstract may be withdrawn at the discretion of the organizers.
It may take time to obtain a membership ID (number) after you apply. It is advised to apply for membership well in advance.
