NEURO2026 offers financial assistance for the following expenses related to your participation in the meeting as part of our support for childcare and caregiving.

For Members of the Japanese Neural Network Society Members of the Japanese Neural Network Society may apply for the society’s own life event support program. For details, please visit the Japanese Neural Network Society website.
*Please note that duplicate applications with the NEURO2026 Life Event Support Program are not permitted.

(1) Support for childcare and caregiving expenses incurred during meeting participation

Support requirements:

1. Fees for the following services used in the meeting venue or your residential area during meeting participation
   • Nursery school, kindergarten, after-school care (including extended care)
   • Babysitter, family support
   • Caregiver, day services for caregiving, overnight stays at care facilities
   • Household assistance services (including monitoring)
2. The usage costs in (1) are not covered by research funding, including Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research, or by the institution's policies.
3. Photos of the service utilization report or receipts (including date) received from the service provider

Support amount: Up to ¥15,000 per family

(2) Support for travel expenses of preschool-aged children accompanying the meeting participants (including airfare, reserved seat shinkansen tickets, and other public transportation fares)

Support requirements:

1. Individuals attending the meeting with preschool-aged children. Support is available regardless of the child's gender or age, and can be utilized during parental leave or caregiving leave.
2. Photos of the flight ticket stubs or train tickets
3. Photos of documents showing the age of the preschool-aged child (such as maternity handbook or insurance card)

Support amount: Up to ¥15,000 per family

The application process will be closed once the maximum number of applicants is reached. Please note that applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Notification of Results:
After the application deadline, the meeting secretariat will review the applications and notify the applicants of the results via email. Successful applicants will be asked to provide their bank details, and the funds will be transferred to the specified account.
